Booking Arrangements At time of booking we require £40 per room as deposit, which is non-refundable. Deposit either by cheque or by phone informing us of your credit/debit card details. *Please note, payment by credit card will incur a charge of £2 per transaction or 2.5 % whichever’s the greater. The balance of the booking is due on arrival by cash or card. We are able to accept cheques if no other option is available but must be cleared before a booking deposit is valid and in the case of balance, payment must be sent and cleared before arrival. Please advise us of your estimated time of arrival if possible. Rooms are normally available by 2.30pm- sometimes earlier by arrangement. Check out is no later than 10.30am on day of departure, any overstays will be charged at the rate of another night room charge. Cancellation Policy All deposits are non-refundable (excepting where we cannot provide accommodation due to a problem beyond our control) and while every endeavour will be made to re-let the accommodation, in the event of a cancellation or a curtailment The Abbeyfield reserves the right to charge the total value of the booking if cancelled or amended within 48hrs of the arrival date. 50% of balance due within 7days of arrival date and 25% within 14days. Cancellations or amendments outside 14days incur no charges to balance due. No shows will be charged in full. No reduction whatsoever is made for fewer guests staying, temporary absence, meals not taken or for departure earlier than booked. We strongly recommend you take out holiday insurance cover in case of unforeseen circumstances affecting your booking. *Please note all bookings made constitute a legally binding contract.
